While the book contains many practice problems, it provides no instructional information. I have tried several times to access the related videos either through youtube or scanning the provided QCR code for each week and there are no videos posted for 4th grade. I will not purchase anymore books from this company.
One of my favorite publishers for math workbooks for students. I have many of their books and have been consistently pleased with the quality and number of resources they provide. The workbooks include more than enough practice problems for your child to work through during the school year and the book comes along with their online website access. To my knowledge, all of their workbooks come with video explanations on their website. Some instructor reviews question by question making this an essential workbook to have for all parents and teachers. As a parent who has used their books for my kids and continue to do so, I highly recommend this brand.
Excellent workbook, I love how these workbooks are divided into weeks and days which makes it very easy to follow. The questions in the book are also ACTUALLY common core, none of the other workbooks are real simulated questions. The state exam has all word problems and many workbooks have easy problems which are mental math. The questions in both workbooks are challenging and resemble the common core exam. Highly recommended
At a first glance, this book looked like any other "a practice problem a day" book. However, the online resources make all the difference. I have included a screen shot of a lesson. The problems are well explained and I like the little tips at the top of each page. I also like the 'chat' option available, where you can get help in real time with additional explanation or questions. It is not a practice drills book, but mostly to introduce ways to understand and solve problems.
I bought this book in the summer for my child who will be enter to 4th grade and i felt in love with it. The best think is video with explanation what child can watch and find out how to find the answer. I like that the book dont have a lot of multiple choice questions because all the book i bough before include a lot of multiple choice questions but not regular word problem question. Another thunk what impress me in thus book is all geometry question was explain in very simple question
I purchased this work book for my grandson, who is having problems with math. The instructions were clear and concise and he seemed to enjoy working in the book and understood the directions. I allowed him to choose the pages he wanted to work on and it seemed to make it a much more pleasant learning experience.
Great question bank but would have loved if they gave more space in workbook. 10 year olds dont have small handwriting yet :) I have them do the questions on additional paper! Rest everything is awesome
