The GCM opened in 1917 as told by Ktla news last week . I was intrigued that they were selling The Grand Central Market Cookbook. Every food vendor has contributed recipes for this unique book. There is informative historical background and inticing food photos found throughout the book. I am looking forward to cooking the various recipes of different cultures. It is an excellent book to give your friends and relatives. Thank you GCM vendors for sharing your recipes for those of us that enjoy cooking!!!!

Really brought the wonderful Grand Central Market as revitalized by Adele Yellin to life!!! And the recipes were terrific.

I really was hoping that you would get the history of the market being 100 years old this year.. Thought since the former owner wrote the book it would have historical pictures with some stories of the former and first market tenants..

I live in Los Angeles and like to visit the Grand Central Market. Thus book shares the stories of some of the vendors as well as recipes. It will make GCM that much more fun!
